An elaborately shaped Venetian mirror in hand-lacquered glass. Deep ruby panels frame the central plate, while etched botanical motifs are worked into the glass surface by hand. The crested silhouette is unmistakably Venetian: a crown of carved and etched glass that rises above the frame in layered symmetry. Rich in ornament and craftsmanship, it brings a sense of theatre to the spaces it inhabits.
Construction
Each glass panel is individually cut, lacquered, and engraved using traditional Venetian techniques. The ornamental crest and scrollwork are shaped and assembled by hand onto a concealed structural framework, while successive layers of lacquer create depth and richness of finish. As with all handcrafted works, no two pieces are ever identical.

To preserve the lacquered finish, clean frame panels with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive products, ammonia-based cleaners, and direct exposure to moisture. The mirror plate may be cleaned with a lightly dampened lint-free cloth. Always apply cleaning solutions to the cloth rather than directly onto the glass.
